I’ve spent the past week updating the design of my blog. I’m still navigating this blogging world — establishing a writing routine, finding my voice, connecting with other writers. All that. Making this blog look more professional, etc. feels like the right move now that I’ve been relatively consistent for over a year. A warning to you though, I’m not 100% settled on the current layout yet, so it could change again. I’m a “flip-flopper,” as my husband would say. I reserve the right to change my mind, always.
I do feel compelled to complain a little about the WordPress design layouts. They are not quite as advertised and require more know-how than I currently have. Or at least, take some tinkering before you can get them just right.
So that’s it. I’m still tinkering with this one. It could change. Hopefully it will continue to improve. In the meantime, I’ll crank out some riveting content to compensate for any flip-floppery on the layout.
